Summit Entertainment, the production company behind "The Twilight Saga" films, has acquired the rights to the youth-oriented "Ender's Game" franchise. An open casting call has been scheduled seeking bright and talented kids and teens ages 10 - 17 of varying ethnic backgrounds. Talent must be located within reasonable driving distance of New Orleans, LA. The shoot is scheduled to run from February 2, 2012 through June 8, 2012. The casting directors are especially interested in home-schooled kids and teens due to the filming schedule during school hours. An on-set teacher is required to be provided by the production company for all minors, therefore it is not absolutely necessary to be home-schooled. Those who are selected will have the adventure of a lifetime and become part of science fiction cinema history!

The Coen Brothers along with Scott Rudin Productions and StudioCanal are set to begin principal photography on the music world feature film drama "Inside Llewyn Davis" in New York starting February 6, 2012. Casting is now underway for supporting roles, day players, extras, stand-ins and photo doubles for the film's stars. Open casting calls are scheduled for both union and non-union talent. Shooting will continue through April 3, 2012 with a theatrical release in 2013.

The hit series "Army Wives" has been given a 23-episode sixth season order and casting for the show's guest stars are being cast out of New York, and additional principal actor casting is being done in South Carolina where shooting takes place. There is also an open casting call scheduled for extras - specifically seeking African-American men between the ages of 13 and 25, who weigh 190 pounds or less, and kids/teens of any ethnicity 3-17 years of age.

Jerry Bruckheimer Films and Walt Disney Pictures are all set to begin principal photography on the star studded feature film "The Lone Ranger" on February 3, 2012. Shooting will take place in Albuquerque, Santa Fe, and other areas of New Mexico through July 20, 2012. The film's remaining supporting players are still being cast in Los Angeles, and smaller speaking roles, extras, stand-ins, and photo-doubles for the film's stars are being cast in New Mexico throughout filming.

MTV and Warner Horizon Television have announced the open casting call dates for season six of the hit competitive dance reality television series "Randy Jackson Presents: America's Best Dance Crew". During the month of January, 2012 auditions will be held in Los Angeles, New York, Chicago, and Houston. Video taped submissions will also be accepted for dance crews that can not attend one of the open auditions.

The long awaited film adaptation of Twilight series author Stephenie Meyer's "The Host" is now ready to begin shooting in February, 2012 and casting directors are holding auditions in Los Angeles and Louisiana for co-starring and supporting roles. Casting will also take place in New Orleans and Baton Rouge for day player roles, extras, stand-ins, and photo-doubles for the film's stars. "The Host" novel was a #1 New York Times Best Seller, and remained on the list for 26 weeks.
