Director Guillermo del Toro
Casting on the two movies based on J.R.R Tolkien’s “The Hobbit”, has been put on a short hold due to director Guillermo del Toro pulling out of the project. Guillermo cited excessive delays to the shooting start date as the reason he quit. Casting of The Hobit Part I and Part II will restart shortly after a new director is hired by the studios.
