Catherine Hardwicke to direct 'Maximum Ride: The Angel Experiment'

Universal Pictures has bought the rights to 'Maximum Ride: The Angel Experiment', based on the best-selling young adult novel series by James Patterson. Twilight director Catherine Hardwicke helm the film, and auditions will begin at the completion of the film's final draft of the screenplay.
Red Riding Hood star Amanda Seyfried
Warner Bros. Pictures is in pre-production on the upcoming feature film Red Riding Hood starring Amanda Seyfried. The film is being produced by Leonardo DiCaprio and will be directed by Catherine Hardwicke. Shooting will take place in the Vacouver, BC area from July 21, 2010 through September 16, 2010. The film's scheduled release date is April 22, 2011.
Universal Pictures has bought the rights to 'Maximum Ride: The Angel Experiment', based on the best-selling young adult novel series by James Patterson. Columbia Pictures has put the film into turnaround. Catherine Hardwicke is still directing the film and will hire a casting director when the new screenplay final draft is complete.
