Warner Bros. The series is now the number one show on Thursday night primetime, beating out Fox's "American Idol", and continues to show steady growth in the ratings. The production company Kurtzman/Orci and Summit Entertainment will begin shooting the magician-heist thriller feature film "Now You See Me" in New Orleans and New York beginning January 16, 2012. The main roles are being cast in Los Angeles, and some supporting roles as well as day players are being cast in New Orleans. All of the film's extras, photo doubles, and stand-ins for the films stars will be cast in Louisiana and New York.

The long awaited film adaptation of Twilight series author Stephenie Meyer's "The Host" is now ready to begin shooting in February, 2012 and casting directors are holding auditions in Los Angeles and Louisiana for co-starring and supporting roles. Casting will also take place in New Orleans and Baton Rouge for day player roles, extras, stand-ins, and photo-doubles for the film's stars. Summit Entertainment, the production company behing "The Twilight Saga" films, has acquired the rights to the youth-oriented "Ender's Game" franchise. Auditions and casting calls are getting underway for the film's starring and supporting roles. The movie will be shot in the New Orleans area and the extras and stand-ins will be hired there, as well as many crew members. The shoot is scheduled to run from February 24, 2012 through June 8, 2012.

ABC Family has ordered the pilot episode for a new half-hour series called "Village People". Casting for the series regulars is taking place in Los Angeles and New York. Smaller speaking roles, extras and stand-ins will all be cast in Los Angeles where shooting will take place. The show is being executive produced by the talented and beautiful Jennie Garth, who will also play the starring role of single career woman who adopts a baby from a teen mom and ends up taking care of the mother as well.
